Day Two:  After breakfast on the ferry it’s back in the saddle. At 85 miles, this is the longest leg – taking you through rolling French countryside to the village of Evreux where you will stop overnight.

Day Three: Leaving Evreux, you travel through beautiful country villages before stopping for lunch. Then it’s one final push to Paris! 75 miles in total. On reaching Paris, you will regroup and cycle up to the Champs Élysées and around the Arc de Triomphe towards your finish at the Eiffel Tower. Congratulations – you’ve made it! Enjoy a celebratory dinner in Paris.

Day Four: This is a free day in Paris – tour some of the many museums and art galleries or enjoy some Parisian shopping. In the afternoon, you will head to the Gare de Nord to catch the Eurostar back to London. [/learn_more]

[learn_more caption=”How fit do I need to be to take part?”]

Many people who take part in this type of event are not regular cyclists, so it is imperative that everyone follows a reasonably serious course of training before the event. You will be sent a comprehensive guide to training when you register for the challenge, which builds up gradually as the event gets closer. The London to Paris Bike Ride is a perfect motivation to get fit, lose weight and have an experience of a lifetime.[/learn_more]

[learn_more caption=”What support will I get?”]

When you register for the London-Paris bike ride with Action for Charity, they will send you a comprehensive guide to training, as well as a kit list for the challenge. A bicycle mechanic will be travelling with the group for the whole challenge and your main luggage will be transported each day by a support team, although you will need to pack a day bag. Most of your meals and all of your accommodation are included. Please download the brochure for further information.

African Initiatives will help you set up a fundraising page and will give you plenty of support during fundraising, including tips on meeting your target. We can also provide you with an African Initiatives cycle top and lots of encouragement during training and as you prepare! [/learn_more]
