RideLondon 100 is the UK’s premier sportive, offering a rare chance to ride through London and Surrey on traffic free roads. A hugely popular legacy event of the 2012 Olympics, the ride is in its 3rd year and promises to be a world class celebration of cycling. The ride takes place on 31st July 2016.
Places are hard to come by, and public ballot has now closed, so we’re offering the opportunity to ride for African Initiatives, helping to raise money for our important work in Ghana and Tanzania.
Starting out from the Olympic park in East London, the route takes in the climbs made famous by the 2012 Olympics, such as Leith Hill and the iconic zigzags of Box Hill, before looping back through Kingston and into central London. Riders will pass some of London’s best-known landmarks on their way to a spectacular finish at the Mall, with the pro race arriving at the same finish later in the afternoon.
We’re asking that riders pay a non-refundable £50 registration fee and commit to raising £500 for African Initiatives’ vital work in Ghana and Tanzania.
But hurry, the closing date for entries is Friday 27th May 2015!
